What makes a retreat "immersive"
The word immersive signals a quality of depth rather than a particular schedule. A workshop weekend might offer good teachings; an immersive retreat goes further — it reorganises your entire daily rhythm around practice, inquiry, and presence. You eat, rest, move, and gather within a held space, which means the retreat itself becomes the teacher, not just the sessions within it.
SoulAdventure retreats are immersive in the fullest sense: you travel to a sacred place (see sacred travel), you engage in morning pranayama and dhyana, you sit with kirtan in the evenings, and the ordinary distractions of home do not follow you there.
